Locality:Chivor Mine, Guavió-Guateque District, Boyacá Department, Colombia
Description:Rich spray of lustrous transparent green emerald crystals, the green gem variety of the mineral species beryl, in limonite-stained calcite. The emerald crystals are hexagonal form with glassy pinacoid terminations, and are well exposed on front and rear.
Overall Size:3.5x2.5x2 cm
Crystals:1-11 mm
