Mineral:Fluorite with Calcite
Locality:Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Large double-sided plate of transparent purple-to-blue cubic fluorite crystals that were internally etched resulting in cavernous growth (hollow cores). Colorless calcite crystals to 1 mm are scattered over the front and completely coating the rear.
Overall Size:24x15x5 cm
Crystals:micro to 28 mm
