Mineral:Fluorite and Calcite
Locality:Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Elongated scalenohedral translucent yellow calcite crystals to 16 mm mixed with heavily etched translucent purple fluorite crystals to 2 mm that is fully crystallized on all surfaces with no attachment point. A few calcite crystals have cleaved tips.
