Mineral:Datolite pseudomorphs after Anhydrite with Calcite
Locality:Millington Quarry, Bernards Township, Somerset County, New Jersey
Description:Translucent greenish datolite pseudomorphs after bladed anhydrite crystals to 30 mm long with colorless transparent pseudo-cubic calcite crystals to 4 mm.. The bottom was sawn to remove excess matrix with risking damage. Collected ca. 1997.
