Mineral:Fluorite on Sphalerite
Locality:Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Transparent-to-translucent yellow cubic fluorite crystals to 58 mm on mass of lustrous translucent dark-brown sphalerite crystals to 20 mm. The fluorite crystals have concave undersides where they were partially dissolved by the cavity solutions.
