Description: | Purple translucent calcite microcrystals completely coating one face gray matrix. The purple color of the calcite is caused by cobalt impurities and these are commonly labeled cobaltoan calcite. From one-time find collected by John Lawson (1942-2024) and Robert Lawson in May 1987 |
