Locality:Shirdi, Nashik District, Maharashtra, India
Description:Hollow cavity in gray basalt lined with translucent gray-to-white quartz crystals to 3 mm with several stalactitic formations to 60 mm long. One quartz stalactite has a scalenohedral transparent 25 mm calcite crystal in epitaxial orientation.
