Description: | Lustrous translucent dark-blue azurite crystals to 2.5 mm over an earlier generation of azurite in botryoidal aggregates to 18 mm. The early azurite surfaces are coated with microscopic green malachite pseudomorphs after cuprite crystals to 0.1 mm. Ex. E. O Stratton collection |
