Mineral:Calcite (twinned crystals) with Pyrite inclusions
Locality:St. Andreasberg District, 25 km SE of Clausthal-Zellerfeld, Harz Mountains, Lower Saxony, Germany
Description:Two large V-twinned rhombohedral translucent-to-transparent pale-gray calcite crystals to 30 mm surrounded by many smaller calcite crystals to 6 mm. All calcite crystals have inclusions of metallic pyrite crystals to 0.2 mm.
