Mineral:Cinnabar on Calcite-Dolomite
Locality:Wanshan, Tongren, Guizhou Province, China
Description:Elongated cluster 15 mm long of lustrous translucent blood-red cinnabar crystals on translucent white calcite-dolomite crystals to 5 mm. One end of the cinnabar formation indicated it is interpenetrant-twinned.
Overall Size:5.5x3.5x3 cm
Crystals:4-6 mm
