Locality:Mulanje Mountain, south of Zomba, Malawi
Description:Lustrous black prismatic aegirine crystals to 48 mm intersecting blocky translucent white microcline crystals to 24 mm. The largest aegirine crystal has a complex termination composed of many smaller faces.
