Mineral:Calcite with Pyrite inclusions
Locality:Balmat No. 3 Mine, Balmat, St. Lawrence County, New York
Description:Transparent-to-translucent gray rhombohedral calcite crystals to 30 mm with microscopic gray pyrite crystals included in the outer layers of some of the calcite crystals. The calcite crystals have lustrous faces in parallel orientation.
