Mineral:Azurite and Malachite with Tenorite
Locality:Morenci Mine, Clifton District, Greenlee County, Arizona
Description:Thin plate of limonite gossan coated with sooty black tenorite with rosettes to 9 mm diameter of lustrous translucent blue azurite crystals and translucent green malachite crystals in hemispherical aggregates to 3.5 mm. Ex. Dr. N. Luppescu, originally acquired in 1995 from R. Rybnicky
