Mineral:Quartz (reverse scepter crystals) with Pyrite
Locality:Butte Mining District, Summit Valley, Silver Bow County, Montana
Description:Lustrous transparent-to-translucent colorless quartz crystals to 28 mm long that exhibits the reverse scepter habit, smaller crystals on the terminations of larger crystals (opposite of a scepter crystal) with yellow-metallic pyrite crystals to 3 mm. Ex. Dr. N. Luppescu, originally acquired from E. Jones.
