Mineral:Pyrite on Dolomite
Locality:Killough Quarry, Paola, Miami County, Kansas
Description:Twisted white saddle-shaped dolomite crystals to 4 mm with scattered overgrowth of octahedral pyrite crystals to 0.5 mm from a little-known midwestern locality. There are remnants of styrofoam glued to the bottom where it was mounted. Ex. R. Bates Collection #285
