Locality:Stony Pass, San Juan County, Colorado
Description:Translucent white quartz epimorphs after bladed barite crystals to 30 mm. The barite crystallized first, was overgrown with 1 mm quartz crystals, then the barite dissolved away. Ex. Barbara L. Muntyan collection, author of Rhodochrosite in the San Juans, in Lithographie Monograph No. 15
