Locality:Hurricane Mountain, east of Intervale, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Lustrous black 27 mm arfvedsonite crystal with slightly striated crystal faces and well developed termination on limonite-stained platy albite crystals in rounded aggregates to 5 mm. Terminated arfvedsonite crystals are rare from Hurricane Mountain. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection #48, collected in the 1960s-70s.
