Locality:Moat Mountain, west of North Conway, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Transparent smoky quartz crystal with lustrous faces that have suture patterns indicating these are twinned following the Dauphine Law of quartz twinning. Internally the smoky quartz crystal is mostly flawless. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s-70s.
