Locality:Moat Mountain, west of North Conway, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Lustrous transparent 45 mm smoky quartz crystal with a colorless outer zone on several sides and termination faces, on one side of blocky white microcline crystals to 32 mm that are twinned following the Carlsbad Law of feldspar twinning. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection #346, collected in the 1960s-70s.
