Mineral:	Quartz var. Smoky Quartz (Dauphiné-law twin)
Locality:	Moat Mountain, west of North Conway, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:	Two parallel transparent smoky quartz crystals with lustrous faces that have suture patterns indicating these are twinned following the Dauphine Law of quartz twinning. Internally the smoky quartz crystals are flawless in the upper half. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s-70s.
