Locality:Lavra da Golconda, Near Governor Valadares, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Description:Tapered lustrous transparent-to-translucent indicolite tourmaline crystals, the blue gem variety of elbaite tourmaline, with fragments of milky quartz on the terminations. The indicolite has excellent true-blue color with no hint of green or yellow. Ex. Luiz Menezes (1950-2014)
