Description: | Transparent-to-translucent brown-yellow di-pyramidal sturmanite crystals to 3 mm on dark Mn-rich matrix with lustrous black manganite crystals to 0.5 mm. Sturmanite is a rare hydrated sulfate and is found at only a handful of localities. Ex. A. Stevenson (1916-2007) collection |
