Locality:Tamminen Quarry, Greenwood, Oxford County, Maine
Description:Pearly translucent purple cookeite crystals to 0.2 mm intermixed with lustrous transparent colorless quartz crystals to 1.5 mm in elongated platy formations that formed in cavities where petalite crystals dissolved leaving a void. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection
