Locality:Cook Road locality, Windham, Cumberland County, Maine
Description:Uncommonly large (for this locality) translucent blue bladed kyanite crystals exposed on several sides of transparent colorless-gray quartz. This kyanite was collected before the house was built at the site (now closed forever to collecting). Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s.
