Mineral:Microcline (Baveno-law twinned) with Albite
Locality:Moat Mountain, west of North Conway, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Large blocky white microcline crystals to 70 mm with brown surfaces plus a few lustrous bladed white albite crystals to 8 mm around the base. The microcline are twinned diagonally through the center following the Baveno Law of feldspar twinning. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection #376, collected in the 1960s-70s
