Mineral:Microcline with Albite overgrowth
Locality:Black Cap Mountain, east of North Conway, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Two interconnected blocky gray-tan microcline feldspar crystals smaller albite crystals to 1 mm in epitactic parallel orientation on the surfaces. Large microcline crystals are uncommon from this obscure locality. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s-70s
