Mineral:Zircon on Quartz with Arfvedsonite
Locality:Hurricane Mountain, east of Intervale, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Rich cluster of translucent brown octahedral zircon crystals to 10 mm in crevices between translucent gray quartz crystals with a large black 72 mm arfvedsonite crystal included in the bottom. The zircons in cavities are complete and undamaged. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection #382, collected in the 70s.
