|Description:||Bright-blue chatoyant curved chalcanthite crystals with minor brown gossan included on the bottom. The chalcanthite probably formed post-mining from groundwater and is water-soluble so this specimen was sealed to prevent degradation. Collected ca. 1985 by David M. Shannon (1942-2004)|
