Locality:Rex Harris' Ruby Violet claim, Wah Wah Mountains, Beaver County, Utah
Description:Doubly-terminated deep-pink transparent bixbite crystal, the red gem variety of the mineral beryl, with stubby hexagonal form and flat basal pinacoid terminations with white rhyolite on the rear. The red beryl crystal has good clarity and deep color.
