Locality:Uchucchaqua Mine, Oyon Province, Lima Department, Peru
Description:Lustrous transparent red-pink scalenohedral rhodochrosite crystals to 12 mm over lustrous transparent waxy gray quartz crystals to 2 mm covering dark Mn-rich matrix. The rhodochrosite crystals are all grouped on the top front which displays nicely.
