Locality:Alto Uruguai, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
Description:Two interpenetrant twinned (similar to twinned calcite from Kazakhstan) rhombohedral translucent yellow calcite crystals to 35 mm on pale-purple amethyst quartz crystals to 16 mm with overgrowth of sparkling sugar-like colorless quartz microcrystals. Ex. Betts #18982
