Locality:Maye Quarry, Aughamore, County Sligo, Ireland
Description:Translucent greenish-yellow calcite crystals with rhombohedral faces that that are etched selectively resulting in linear surface patterns following the underlying crystal structure. Lustrous parallel white dolomite crystals to 2 mm are on the bottom. Collected in July 1997
