Locality:Black Cap Mountain, east of North Conway, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Transparent dark amethyst-smoky quartz crystals exhibiting scepter habit (elongated prismatic milky to smoky quartz crystal capped with larger amethyst quartz crystals resembling a scepter). The quartz has etched faces with satin luster. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection #268, collected in the 70s.
