Locality:Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia
Description:Prismatic hexagonal translucent white aragonite crystals with lustrous crystal faces and slightly tapered shapes. This is the lead-rich variety of aragonite known locally as Tarnowitzite. The aragonite crystals fluoresce moderately under UV illumination. Ex. A. Stevenson (1916-2007) collection, originally acquired in 1988
