Description:A fabricated specimen (assembled with glue) of several transparent green emerald crystals, the green gem variety of the mineral species beryl, mixed with yellow-metallic pyrite. These fakes are sold to tourists, though the emeralds are worth the price. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection #394
