Mineral:Azurite and Malachite epimorph after Calcite
Locality:Airthrey Hill Mine, Stirlingshire, Scotland
Description:Green malachite microcrystals and blue azurite microcrystals forming a concave epimorph after calcite crystals with minor covellite and Cu-rich pyrite. The calcite grew first, was overgrown by the azurite-malachite, then the calcite dissolved.
