Mineral:Quartz var. Agate pseudomorphs after Coral (Tampa Bay Coral)
Locality:Tampa Bay, Hillsborough County, Florida
Description:Classic specimen of coral that was replaced by quartz agate that was sawn through the center and polished on the faces to highlight the internal translucency and rich amber color. Note the well defined coral shapes still evident on the outer surfaces. Ex. B. Gaber collection #1720
