Description:V-twinned transparent golden-brown calcite crystals with silky surface luster. The calcite crystals are scalenohedral form with flattened rhombohedral termination faces. The calcite crystals are twinned on the {01*8} plane. Ex. Robert P. Bates (1926-2008) collection #662
