Mineral:Aragonite with Siderite pseudomorphs after Fluorite
Locality:Kirkland, Cumbria, England
Description:Spray of lustrous elongated scalenohedral aragonite crystals to 16 mm on brown matrix with small brown siderite pseudomorphs after fluorite crystals to 2 mm visible around the edges. The aragonite crystals fluoresce under SW UV illumination. Ex. W. Keller #5132; ex. Ernie Schlichter (1929 -2007)
