Description: | Limonite-stained brown quartz pseudomorphs after scalenohedral calcite crystals to 25 mm. The calcite crystallized first, was overgrown with 1-2 mm thick quartz layer, then the calcite dissolved leaving hollow molds of the original calcite crystals. Ex. David U Trevas (1912 - 2007); ex.
