Description: | Thin vein of crystallized translucent blue chalcomenite that formed in a narrow fracture in dark gray matrix. The opposing vein wall was removed to expose the chalcomenite vein with lustrous crystal faces on the edges. Ex. American Museum of Natural History #32729, acquired with the Thompson Fund |
