Mineral:Quartz with epimorphs after Laumontite
Locality:Diamond Ledge, Stafford Springs, Tolland County, Connecticut
Description:Translucent white milky quartz crystals to 35 mm with milky quartz epimorphs after elongated laumontite crystals up to 25 mm long. The laumontite crystallized first, was coated with quartz crystals, then the laumontite dissolved leaving hollow centers.
