Mineral:Calcite pseudomorphs after Natrolite
Locality:Upper New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Translucent colorless rhombohedral calcite crystals to 3 mm in vertical epimorphs of natrolite crystals to 22 mm. The natrolite crystallized first, was overgrown with the calcite crystals, then the natrolite dissolved.
Overall Size:5.5x3.5x2.5 cm
