Description:Large specimen of red-brown andradite garnet crystals to 9 mm with silky surface luster plus scattered quartz crystals to 16 mm on dark magnetite matrix. The presence of the magnetite is confirmation of Ocna de Fier as the correct locality. Ex. Dr. Eugene E. Sensel (1911-2000) collection #M457; acquired in 1987 from H. Obodda
