Locality:Twin Peaks, Millard County, Utah
Description:Classic specimen of dark-metallic hematite pseudomorphs after octahedral magnetite crystals (a.k.a. Martite) to 18 mm with old pen-and-ink label indicating that Sherk acquired the specimen from Toothaker, a well known Philadelphia mineral collector. Ex. A. Lincoln Sherk II, MD. (1896-1970); ex. Charles R. Toothaker (1873-1952)
