| Description: | Large transparent gray-to-brown smoky quartz crystals with complex crystallization patterns on the prism faces. The three prism faces on the rear of the largest smoky quartz crystal have 1 mm thick pale-gray zones beneath the crystal surfaces. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s-70s. |
