Locality:Ihosy, Toliara, Madagascar
Description:Three lustrous translucent purple corundum (variety sapphire) crystals exposed in black biotite schist. The corundum crystals are hexagonal form with basal pinacoid terminations. The surface luster on the crystal faces is exceptional.
Overall Size:7x6x4.5 cm
Crystals:7-17 mm
