Mineral:Cuprite over Copper
Locality:Bisbee, Warren District, Cochise County, Arizona
Description:Large specimen of metallic native copper (naturally occurring copper) coated on the surfaces with overgrowth of translucent dark-red cubic cuprite crystals to 2 mm with minor green chrysocolla in crevices between the cuprite crystals.
Overall Size:12x12x5 cm
Crystals:0.2-2.0 mm
