Locality:Ojos Espaņoles Mine (Mina La Prieta Linda), Chihuahua, Mexico
Description:Unusually large dodecahedral crystals of black andradite garnet with the rear sawn flat to reduce bulk without risking damage. The andradite garnet crystals from this locality were tested ca. 1995 and found to have slight Yttrium impurities.
