Locality:Weldon's Stone Quarry, Scotch Plains, New Jersey
Description:Small pocket 20 mm across in white calcite lined with rare (for this locality) pale-green chrysocolla in hemispherical aggregates to 1 mm. Dark metallic bornite crystals are embedded in the calcite throughout and could be exposed more with HCL. Ex Jeff Weissman collection #1266; ex. Betts #11584; ex. Cilen collection #9385
